This spot has lots of good that are difficult to get otherwise. Pretty large selection.

Wow! Finally found an Idaho Asian market that had all the foods I was looking for. Store was clean and well stocked - will make this my regular stop

I really love coming here. I make frequent trips here, given the large variety of food options. They recently expanded which means even more goodness! Great place to go. It's the biggest Asian market in the area. Plenty of good options, and it's always a pleasant experience coming to this store. Highly recommend if you haven't been in!

So glad I found this market! Closest to 99 ranch and h mart. It's the biggest Asian grocery store that I have found in the area. Pretty much had everything you'll need and want here. Good produce you won't find elsewhere and also a lot of frozen goods and desserts. Definitely recommend coming here.

I recently moved here and was worried about finding asian products in the limited grocery stores that they have here in Boise. Took me 2 days to find the market online and then I was off to the market. OMG, okay coming from Texas where there is a large Asian population and they have H Mart, well I was happy when I walked into the "asian market" and it was FILLED with pretty much whatever you want or might want or just want to purchase just incase you may need it later. They have everything from curries, to hotpot packets, sauces, hotpot meats and seafood. Kimchee, Sake's, Asian beers, asian snacks, veggies (I think they bring in their shipments on Friday), seafood, dishes....its a great market considering this is Boise without a HUGE asian population. Prices are decent too, I actually bought alot online from "weee", but now that I found this market, I will go here once a week.

Located in a SUPER-CUTE little shopping area with a paifang to welcome everyone, this store is the shiz-ette! They have an impressive variety of Asian groceries of all kinds, from Shaoxing wine to Ochazuke packets, from Bagoong to Gochujang. Being a kanaka implant to Idaho, I was thrilled to find a selection of Hawaiian/local-style groceries. It helped a little with my homesickness. :) Their fresh produce, meats and frozen foods section was amazing and I even (wait for it, y'all) found Fresh. Pig. Blood. In. Idaho. I. Cannot. So if you (like me) need some nori sheets for spam musubi or you (also like me) are craving some matcha Kit Kats or just need some live crabs for dinner in your life, drive out and check this place out. Mahalo nui loa, ICAM!

Every weekend, Idaho Capital Asian Market in Boise features Taiwanese style breads and a few other bakery items, from a Taiwanese bakery in City of Industry, CA called I Fu Tang aka IFT Bakery. The original location is in San Gabriel. It took me some serious Internet sleuthing to figure out which bakery it was, because when I asked, I was just shown a screenshot of a website with no identifying information, and everything was written in Chinese. I was also told the bakery was in City of Industry. Man Chen opened the San Gabriel location of I Fu Tang aka IFT Bakery in 1990, after moving to the US from Taiwan. His family is the fourth generation owners of a famous Taiwanese bakery called Yi Fu Tang Bakery that has been open since 1928. Taiwanese breads are softer, moister, rise more, and stay fresh longer than Western style breads due to an Asian baking technique, Tangzhong. But you can apply the same technique to any bread. For those who want to know more, I'll include some information in the comments. Taiwanese spreads are also sweeter than most Western style breads due to the addition of sugar. When I visited Idaho Capital Asian Market on 11/18/23, I bought 4 items: Custard Bread ($2.99) - This is a fluffy, slightly sweet bread with a nice amount of custard in the middle. I liked it, but next time I will heat it up in the oven for a few minutes first. Raisin Bread - ($2.99) - This is a fluffy, slightly sweet bread with raisins. This was my favorite of the three breads. I would have liked it more if it had a few more raisins and/or if the raisins had been more evenly distributed. Most of the raisins are on the surface of the bread. Taro Bread - ($2.99) - This is a fluffy, slightly sweet bread with a little bit of taro paste swirl through the top portion of the bread. The taro flavor is very subtle, but I liked it. Chocolate Swiss Roll ($3.99) - This is a light sponge cake with a subtly flavored whipped cream filling. I like Swiss Rolls, but the flavor in this one was a bit too subtle for me. In addition to having a great variety of Taiwanese style bakery items, ICAM is the best Asian market in Idaho. It rivals some of the much bigger Asian markets that I have visited in other states.

The market is cold inside they have so much stuff to look at, live crabs to buy so many different things.. I will say if you like dragon fruit buy it at Winco tho at the Asian Market is almost $8 when at Winco is almost $6. My kid got mochi she loves the stuff. She got noodles and sea weed which she loves and some other things like Boba tea in a can. Some of there prices went up. They also have baby Duck eggs and quail eggs. The coffee in a can it went up.. over my daughter loves shopping here. I spent about $70
